-a conclusion, drawing out the implications of the argument</p>

<p>We reviewed for the quarter exam.  The quarter exam will be 30 questions based on two passages.  You will have the entire period to complete the exam.  The questions will cover the rhetorical vocabulary and strategies we have discussed this quarter.</p>
<p>On Wednesday I explained the next formal paper for this class.  You will be writing an extended definition paper on a term or concept of your choice.  See me for the assignment sheet.  For next Wednesday you need to have 3 sentences: A formal definition, operational definition, and definition by exmaple for your word.</p>
